Ingredients

  • 2 lb salmon filet or side
  • 1/2 cup mustard whole grain
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 lemon zested & juiced (~2 tbsp juice)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Purely Seasoning Original
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper coarse ground
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • cooking oil high heat

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400º F.
  • Mix together all the topping ingredients besides the pecans and oil.
  • Place salmon on an oiled pan or baking sheet. Cover the salmon with the honey mustard sauce.
  • Bake salmon for 12-14 minutes. Remove once it is 5-10º F below how you would like it cooked (internal temp). While the salmon is cooking, start the pecans.
  • Add pecans to separate pan over medium heat. Stir often. Toast until fragrant. About 3-4 minutes.
  • Once the salmon is done, change the oven to its broil function. Broil on high for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the outside. Remove once it is cooked to your liking.
  • Plate the salmon and top with the toasted pecans. Finish with Purely Seasoning Original to taste.
  • Enjoy!
