Prime Rib Roast – A Savory Family Feast
An elegant prime rib roast, sure to feed any family. Perfect for holidays or weekend dinners. Excellent for sandwiches.

Ingredients
- 3 – 4 rib standing rib roast (7 – 10 lbs)
- 1 ½ tbsp Purely Seasoning's Original Seasoned Salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper ground
- ½ tbsp coarse kosher salt
Instructions
- Remove the roast from the refrigerator 2-3 hours before cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 500º F.
- Rub the entire roast with organic seasoned salt besides the bottom (bone-side is the bottom). Make sure the oven rack in the second lowest position.
- Place the roast, bone-side down, in a large pan. Coat the top with fresh black pepper, and kosher salt. Roast at 500º F for 45 min then reduce the heat to 320º F for another 30 minutes. After, increase the temperature to 475º F and roast for another 15 to 35 minutes, cook until the center of the roast his 120º F or until it is cooked to your liking.
